SAP's Business ByDesign suite is an integrated suite of ERP, CRM, SCM, SRM and compliance-based apps that allow users to kick off processes that travel throughout the applications. The question is where do customer's existing applications fit into that scenario?

Salesforce offers CRM applications with the thought that partners can develop integrated ERP (and other) applications. Coda Group announced Sept. 17 that it will develop a financial system natively on Force.com, Salesforce's development platform. That doesn't mean the two automatically integrate, however. Coda also announced an integration pack to Salesforce.
